As we reach the winter solstice, the longest night of the year, I’m choosing to let this moment invite rest rather than urgency.

Before the holidays fully arrive, I’m intentionally leaning into self-care. Not the kind that adds another thing to the list, but the kind that helps us arrive more regulated, more present, and a little more grounded.

A walk.
A nap.
Saying no when needed.

As the light slowly returns and the holiday week unfolds, sometimes the most supportive thing we can do is slow down before the celebration begins.
