Self-Care Through the Holidays
It’s hard to believe that Halloween is already this Friday! That means Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and Christmas will be here before we know it. From Halloween through the end of the year, life seems to move faster than ever.
Between planning meals, shopping for gifts, organizing celebrations, and juggling extra activities, the holiday season can quickly become overwhelming. On top of that, we often indulge in more food and drink than usual—delicious, yes, but not always what our bodies truly need.
Somewhere in the midst of all this hustle, self-care often slips to the bottom of the list. I know that taking care of myself during this time of year can be challenging, and I’m guessing I’m not alone. So, I’d like to invite you to join me in a little Holiday Self-Care Challenge:
✨ Share one self-care tip each week—and don’t just share it, actually practice it.
It might be as simple as taking a quiet walk, saying no to something that drains your energy, or carving out a few minutes for mindful breathing. Whatever it is, make it something that fills your cup instead of emptying it.
Another wonderful way to stay grounded and centered this season is by taking time for a coaching session—or a Hug a Horse session—with me and the horses. As long as the weather isn’t too bitter or wet, we’ll continue to offer individual sessions outdoors.
And I’m excited to share that I’ll be adding a new healing modality this coming week that will be available all winter long! Be sure to check back Monday morning to find out what’s new.
The holidays can be magical, but they can also be demanding. Let’s remind ourselves that caring for others starts with caring for ourselves. 💜
So tell me—how are you going to take care of yourself over the next couple of months?
